June 22 (Wed) 7:00pm Airmen Certification Standards

Event Date:
Wednesday, June 22, 2016 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Years in development, the FAA’s new Airmen Certification Standards (ACS) came into effect on June 15th. The FAA’s ACS has been developed with a diverse group of aviation authorities and replaces the Practical Test Standards. The new ACS is aimed to improve the training and testing of future pilots. These exciting improvements for airman testing and training might have you asking yourself “am I prepared for the ACS?”

San Carlos Flight Center has invited Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) Vince Nastro to help guide us through the New Airmen Certification Standards. Draw on Nastros’s wealth of aviation knowledge to gain a clearer understanding of the ACS and how it will affect you.
