April 5 (Wed) 7:00pm Return of the Oakland Center ARTCC meteorologist

Event Date:
Wednesday, April 5, 2017 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

You’ve read about meteorologists but have you ever met one?  In the good old days, this was common but in today’s information age, this has become a rarity.  This seminar welcomes the meteorological staff from Oakland Center Air Route Traffic Control Center’s Central Weather Service Unit to address one of California’s most dangerous hazards, icing.  They will also have time to discuss any local weather question you have as well as any questions about how a CWSU runs at an ARTCC.

Don't miss this rare and exciting opportunity.
